The Bay of Key Biscayne is an exceptional place to go windsurfing, calm seas with good consistent wind year-round makes it a unique location right in the heart of Miami. Regardless of your windsurfing experience, sailing in the bay is safe and great to improve on your skills. Advanced riders have miles of open water with nice strong winds, however, having a large area with only waist-height water makes it the ideal place for beginners to progress and gain confidence. Shallow water makes learning how to windsurf far easier as you can always just get off and walk straight back to the beach if you get exhausted.
