The Historic Stranahan House Museum is Fort Lauderdale’s oldest and most historically significant surviving structure. This is where it all began. The Stranahan House holds the story of a family, a house, and the birth of a city. Take a magical trip to the past when you tour Fort Lauderdale’s oldest home. This pioneer-style home was built as a trading post to trade with the Seminole Indians, it also served as a post office, bank, community center, restaurant and home of Ivy and Frank Stranahan. Tours at 1, 2 & 3 pm, check schedule online. Call for reservations.
