It all really started because of who I am as a photographer. My main business (Denis Leon and Co. Photographers) has been a company I built from the ground up over twenty years ago.

When I first began my business, it was years of fifteen-hour work days, not having the money to hire staff for help, traveling all over the place just to get established, etc. I had to wear all of the hats just to get it off the ground. This has given me a good work ethic and basis for other endeavors in my life, including Denis Leon Art Gallery.

The gallery was created as a way to showcase not only my own photography and mixed media, but to give recognition to other artists that put their heart and soul into their creative process as well. I value the people who create with purpose and my hope is that people can see that through the art and artists we feature.
