The 49th Annual Swim Around Key West, a challenging 12.5-mile open water swim, will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m. from Higgs Beach in Key West. This event involves a clockwise swim around the island, strategically planned to align with the tides for optimal conditions. Swimmers will benefit from tide rides through Key West Harbor, under the Fleming Key Bridge, and up to Dredgers Key, before catching the outgoing tide to Cow Key Channel, and finishing the last 4 miles along the Atlantic Ocean.
