Ragtops Motorcars

Details

In 1980, Ty Houck started Ragtops in a gas station with three cars from Maryland, which he still owns. With the Loving brothers, he acquired a corner in Lakeview and Olive, renaming it Tyler's and establishing Ragtops. Now, after 42 years, Ragtops resides in Lake Worth Beach at 7th Avenue North and Dixie Highway. In 1988, it moved to Jerry McCoy's old gas station and later expanded to a three-story building at 2119 Dixie, transforming into a destination with a soda bar, drive-in theatre, and events hosting. Despite downsizing, Ragtops remains open, focusing on events, antique automobile trade, and a Gift Garage offering American-made items and memorabilia.
